A better way to buy a car

I bought a car from Carsons a few years ago and now we are about to buy its replacement. The experience was great, an honest trader who was totally open about the vehicles on display, corrected a fault that there was on the car and ensured it had both an MOT and warranty. I don't usually enjoy the car-buying experience, however, it was different with Carson Motors.

The first impression is good. Well received by sales host Tony for our needs. Then we browsed a small tidy warehouse full of clean pretty cars each with a previous life and story. Pleased that a third-party warranty was available at a small surcharge as these cars have a history and old bones like humans. Tony was pleasant and had good energy. No pressure whatsoever and he knows the business and his way around all the bits of a car while some people just admire the Horsepower and cosmetics. A pleasurable experience

Excellent customer service, the car I wanted was of course at the back of the showroom but was quickly moved out so I could take it for a test drive. Upon test driving the car I purchased & drove away in under two hours. It was a pleasure doing business and will recommend to friends and family.

Unbelievable experience. Having bought from umpteen dealers in the past, I despaired of ever finding a trustworthy one. Carson Motors excelled in every way. The car is immaculate. Minor repairs were carried out before I collected the car. Nothing was too much trouble. I would heartily recommend anyone in or near Preston to visit here for a good value vehicle and great service.

A patient-understanding experience

Found the car I thought would suit me, but had a look at other cars on site, just in case there was something else of interest. No pressure put on me. Decided on my first choice, and got a good part exchange deal. Because I had a Private Reg. I had to apply to DVLA by post, Could not do it on line for some reason. As a result there was a delay in making the exchange, and Tony was very understanding and kept the car for me for 2 weeks. Tony was very helpful throughout.

Had a great experience with Carson Motors. Tony was ever helpful, did not put any pressure on us, and allowed us to look at a good selection of used cars. We were after a low-value runaround and found what we were looking for. On putting down the deposit, CM organised an MOT and clearly outlined the work required before we went for the test drive. We then bought the car. The climate control was slightly malfunctioning but was covered under the 3-month warranty. However, the warranty had not been received in the post. CM helpfully took the car back anyway rather than asking us to wait for the warranty and within 24 hours the repair garage fixed the problem. The car runs really well and obviously still covered by the warranty. Thanks, CM, really good of you. Buying a 13-year old car you might expect some problems but with CM's customer focus and the 3-month warranty to back this up, you are in a safe place with Carson Motors. I would highly recommend it. Friendly, professional service, and a great car!

Buying a used car can be a daunting experience! Trust me I know, I have been scammed so many times before in the past and fairly recently. I'm a single dad of two, and needed a good reliable car for work and school runs, etc as I live in the countryside busses are a no-go! And to top matters off, I had very little money. That said, I went onto Autotraider with my budget and found Carsons and although it was over 200 miles away they had a car I liked and looked decent for the money I had. Read the reviews, most good some not so. I called Tony from C/M/l who was extremely polite, and professional and even made you feel comfy over the phone. We spoke and he put the car for a mot, he had replaced two new tires, brake disks and pads etc in order to pass the mot, he went above and beyond for me to make sure I had a perfectly running car! Tony called me every step of the way and answered all the questions I had. The car is exceptional! And in immaculate condition for age! Phenomenal! Thanks, Tony! R

Honesty is the best policy

Honesty is the best policy and Mr Carson is definitely an honest man.. So I found the car I wanted 'Audi A4 2.5 v6 diesel' and I rang to place a deposit down on the car. I informed him that I was going to pick the car up in 2 weeks which was no problem he then told me that he would put a new Mot on the car for when I picked the car up. In the process of getting the Mot on the car the mechanic told him that there was an engine fault and there could be problems. Mr Carson informed me of this as soon as possible and also gave me my full deposit back. All though I never purchased the car the experience of dealing with a honest car salesman was a pleasure thank you.

Fair and courteous Motor Dealers.

Bought a Suzuki Ignis from Carson Motors. Unfortunately, it had a couple of faults with brakes and steering. After contacting them we came to an agreement and Carson agreed to pay half the costs of the repairs. Which I thought was very fair. I would recommend this Car Trader to all potential buyers.
